Director Alma Har’el and Choreographer Ryan Heffington have created a startling, visual short film starring Shia LaBeouf and dancer Denna Thomsen for the Icelandic band Sigur Rós.
The film, about “two people “locked in a never-ending cycle of addiction and desire” features both LaBeouf and Thomsen naked in full-frontal poses.
Har’el’s directorial debut “Bombay Beach” won Best Documentary at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
The video features the band’s song “Fjögur Píanó,” off their album Valtari. It’s the third in a series in which the musicians asked artistic directors to interpret their music.
“We don’t want to tell anyone how to feel and what to take from it. With the films, we have literally no idea what the directors are going to come back with,” the band said in a statement.
