Candice Swanepoel is one of the most versatile, and most photographed models in fashion, whether she’s walking for Victoria’s Secret or posing in a fantastic photo spread for Muse magazine, as she did for their summer issue.
The stunning South African beauty poses for not one but two spreads in the magazine and was also featured on multiple covers.

Famed photographer Marinao Vivanco shot both features that captured Candice in two decidedly different moods and settings. In the first shoot, her long blonde hair is turned into a riot of curls as she sheds her clothes in an arty, high concept series of photos.
The second features the 23-year-old model in a summery, full-color series of photos decked out in denim and lace. Beth Fenton styled the look with Fernando Torrent on hair and Pep Gay handling makeup.
Swanepoel has been the go-to girl on the runway for major brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Chanel, Betsey Johnson, Diane von Fürstenberg, Givenchy and Jean Paul Gaultier. And, she’s been a fixture on Victoria’s Secret’s team of Angels ever since 2007, when she was just 19.
Last year, she not only appeared in the lingerie brand’s commercials, she was also the cover model for its 2010 “Swim” catalog, which is beginning to rival the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue for its cavalcade of beautiful women in bathing suits.
Her work for Russell James in his photography book, “V2,” along with eight Victoria’s Secret models, is nothing short of stunning. And, she struck a bold, defiant pose earlier this year in another breath-taking spread in Vogue Italia.
The cumulative effect of her busy schedule added up to her debut at No. 10 on Forbes magazine’s “The World’s Top-Earning Models list,” for 2010-11, with estimated earnings of $3 million.
