Nielsen excited the industry with her flawless look and signature hair and stare. She made her debut in Paris, where she walked for Balenciaga, Givenchy, Dries van Noten, Viktor and Rolf, Chanel, Celine , Miu Miu, YSL and Vuitton. She opened for Valentino.
Carey, 18, grew up in Burbank, Calif. Her Indonesian background gives her exotic good looks. She was signed by Storm Models in 2009 and has been featured in editorial work in Oyster magazine and now Numéro. She fronted for Rock & Republic autumn/winter campaign in 2009.
The two models team up with Kadel for Numéro’s August issue for an evening out in the dark corners and recesses of a gritty urban landscape. Stylist Elizabeth Sulcer dressed the girls in Gucci, Balmain, Alexander McQueen and other designers. Ward Stegerhoek sculpted their hair and Lisa Houghton handled make up.
Collectively, they created a world of opulence amid urban decadence. Check out their photos.
