Tiiu Kuik, a willowy blonde model from the former Soviet satellite state of Estonia, is sensual nymph in a dreamy photo spread for Gravure, the U.S. based semi-annual fashion and arts magazine.
Kuik, 25, was discovered at a food fair when she was just 13 by Estonian agent Paolo Moglia, who also discovered supermodel Carmen Kass.
After working initially in Japan, Kuik made her professional debut just two years later on the runways of Jil Sander and Gucci at Milan Fashion Week.
She’s been a staple on the runways ever since, walking for more than 50 different designers in New York, London and Paris in addition to Milan. Given her lengthy career and A-list clients, she can legitimately claim supermodel status, even if she isn’t quite as well known as Heidi Klum or Kate Moss.
Tiiu Kuik, Sensual Seductive for Gravure
Her height, she’s six feet tall, and distinctive mole on her left cheek make her a standout for such brands as Christian Dior (J’Adore fragrance), Louis Vuitton, Moschino and Valentino.
She now reps for CoverGirl cosmetics and appeared in a CoverGirl commercial with Queen Latifah and America’s Next Top Model, Dani Evans.
Her long lines, and flowing graceful body are evident in photographer Alex Freund’s sensual shoot for the fashion magazine. She wears lightweight sheer fabrics styled by Megan Ros. Elisa Flowers keeps her hair and make-up understated and natural looking to compliment the lush natural backdrop.
